The QUACING Agency has been settled in 2010 and since September 2012 has been authorized to issue EUR-ACE ® accreditation (“EUR-ACE ® label”) by the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education. Since December 2012, the QUACING Agency has been part of the affiliates of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) which has defined the guidelines for quality assurance (Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance). These Guidelines were adopted by the Ministers of Education and the University of 45 European countries (Bergen, 19-20 May 2005) in the context of the Bologna process together with the European Qualification Framework relating to the mutual recognition of qualifications. The Guidelines were revised in Yerevan in 2015.
QUACING has defined and adopted the CRUI / EUR-ACE Model for Quality Certification and EUR-ACE Accreditation of Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Courses in Engineering. The CRUI / EUR-ACE Model defines the requirements for the quality of university degree programs in engineering, in line with the ENQA guidelines.
The QUACING Agency can issue a quality certification or an “EUR-ACE® accreditation”. With respect to certification, accreditation also certifies that the expected learning outcomes envisaged by the CdS at the end of the training process are consistent with the learning outcomes established in the “EUR-ACE® Framework Standards for the Accreditation of Engineering Programs” approved on 5 November 2008.
