According to the New QUACING Agency Regulations, ‘Quality Certification’ of a Study Program (SP) is understood as the procedure by which the Agency formally and publicly certifies that the SP complies with national legal requirements and that:
- has defined professional and employment opportunities for which to prepare graduates / postgraduates consistent with the mission of the structure to which they belong and with the demand for training expressed by the reference world of work, specific training objectives consistent with the qualifying training objectives of the class / s to which they belong and with the professional and employment opportunities established, and learning outcomes expected in students at the end of the training course consistent with the specific training objectives and with the professional opportunities established;
- provides students with a learning environment (training path, teaching and infrastructure resources, services) that allows them to achieve their learning objectives on schedule, has established assessment methods that allow them to assess the degree of learning of students credibly and monitors the adequacy and effectiveness of the learning environment as perceived by students and graduates / postgraduates;
- monitors the entry, course and exit data of students and the work results of graduates / master’s graduates, in order to verify the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the training service offered;
- the University and the SP have adopted an effective organization and established adequate responsibilities for quality assurance and the SP periodically reviews the training service offered;
According to the New Regulations of the QUACING Agency, the ‘EUR-ACE Accreditation’ of a SP means the procedure through which the Agency formally and publicly certifies that the SP complies with national legal requirements, which:
- has defined professional and employment opportunities for which to prepare graduates / postgraduates consistent with the mission of the structure to which they belong and with the demand for training expressed by the reference world of work, specific training objectives consistent with the qualifying training objectives of the class / s to which they belong and with the professional and employment opportunities established, and learning outcomes expected in students at the end of the training course consistent with the specific training objectives and with the professional opportunities established and with the learning outcomes for EUR- accreditation ACE (Annex 1 to the QUACING Agency Regulations);
- provides students with a learning environment (training path, teaching and infrastructure resources, services) that allows them to achieve their learning objectives on schedule, has established assessment methods that allow them to assess the degree of learning of students credibly and monitors the adequacy and effectiveness of the learning environment as perceived by students and graduates / postgraduates;
- monitors the entry, course and exit data of students and the work results of graduates / master’s graduates, in order to verify the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the training service offered;
- the University and the SP have adopted an effective organization and established adequate quality assurance responsibilities and the SP periodically reviews the training service offered;
- and, therefore, that the SP offers a training course suitable for inclusion in the profession of engineer
- and, therefore, that the SP offers a training course suitable for inclusion in the profession of engineer
